Ways forward for gender politics in the EU Brussels

Together with scholars and women’s organizations’ activists from Central and Eastern Europe we spent two days meeting various stakeholders discussing on gender politics in the EU (3-5 November, 2019). It is really difficult to give a balanced and accurate view on what’s happening in our countries. On one hand radical right wing parties finally deliver social support seemingly breaking down with market fundamentalism, on the other – women’s rights are threatened and working conditions do not improve.
