On the 4th of March I participated in a panel of experts discussing the implementation of the new Work-Life Balance Directive that took place in the European Commission’s Office in Warsaw Poland. We were arguing in favor of the solution to earmark two months of paid parental leave for the fathers/second parents wondering about the varieties of implementation models. The meeting aligned with my fieldwork in Poland I did for a comparative paper on the implementation of Work-Life Balance Directive in Denmark.
